I didn't see the SgtMaj's article, but agree with what I read of it on this website. I quickly correct anyone I hear say "EGA". What is really disgusting is when you hear an NCO, SNCO or Officer refer to the Marine Corps Emblem as "EGA". Rest assured not all Marines are getting careless with our history, customs, courtesies and traditions.
