oil hole concentricity...

Response to My only question is the opening up of the bearing hole to match the oil hole..............

I also wonder about this business of the oil holes not lining up. Generally in machining and manufacturing, a concentricity issue is one of the simplest to correct. You can see this visually, no need to measure. I’m sure Ford was aware of this issue and suspect that it was deliberate. Someone must know the answer to this-LOL Perhaps it is an oil pressure regulating method and if you open them up you may need a larger volume pump at lower engine speeds? A bit of math may answer this…
