the Blue Thunder to take the cake. I am lucky enough to own the Blue Thunder 428 CJ intake, F427, Iron CJ intake, and a PI aluminum intake.
I've never seen the RPM intake, but I have to say, compared to the factory intakes, the Blue Thunder is laid out beautifully, especially directly below the carburetor mounting pad where they cast bigger plenums for the air/fuel to run. There is much more meat here on the factory PI intake to constrict flow. Since I can't really stick my hand down the carb pad on the iron CJ intake to feel around due to the four hole carb pad, I am not sure how it compares to the other two. My guess is that it is pretty comperable to a alum PI.
The F427 has a better layout than the stock PI intake but it is slightly poorer in design than the Blue Thunder. Still seems like an awesome intake though.
Anyhow, let us know and THANKS for sharing the info!
