The newer manifolds offer a level of performance that the older manifolds just can't stand up to. Keith Craft runs the Performer RPM on most of his engines. I'd guess to say he's made 100's of pulls in his lifetime and has probably tried them all.
The Blue Thunder will be very close...but I would guess that any performance difference over the RPM would be at a higher rpm.
