I having spent untold hours opening up PI Ports (they are narrow) to equal the ports of a Ed Head (ports are wide - based on Med Riser but are short) and Ed Head to PI. I wanted a blend of PI and ED/MR opting for the larger dimension. I noted the width porting had to go real real deep into the PI for the intake hour glasses at the Head/Intake intersection.
The CJ heads/intake are Low Risers and simply are very large.
I know it falls outside the tests but is there any numbers that indicate any differences in manifold vacuum during the dyno runs with different manifolds?
What conclusions if any could be determined by the figures?
I think the Ed Performance is no shockm as it is based upon by Eds admission a Med Riser...
