I'm sure you are familiar with the recommended plenum mods originally developed by Edelbrock. Maybe try some differeing spacers like a Wilson 4 hole etc. That might make a good test along with a Holley Street Dominator, Port-O-Sonic, DOVE spider, and Victor on a little more agressive build.
