I didn't get into the betting frenzy due to lack of experience (and being a poor looser !!) I gotta admit that in side by side pics, the Streetmaster "looks" racier, while some of the others look like copycats.
Many many years ago, a friend who had a worn out 68 1/2 428 CJ Mustang (that I could have bought for $2000.00 BTW) was upset that his car wouldn't run with my 67 427 (I'm sure it was from the factory like that !! lol) Anyway, I had a F427 that I didn't want to sell, but he insisted, so for $100.00 I gave it to him... Man, did he ever bitch and complain when his car ran exactly the same.. Now we know why !!
Great stuff Jay.... too bad you couldn't re-coup your costs for doing this kinda stuff somehow. Information is a valuable comodity, and us FE types are sure lucky to have our own "in house" dyno and all around bunch of good guys.. Much appreciated !!
