I know all will be shocked and you will be happy. Just degrease it and list it as is. Don't try and "restore' it as you may do more damage. The original finish is important to some guys although being a rebuilt it may be gone already but looking at how clear the numbers are i think you are in good shape. There are plenty of guys here who know the market but there are still enough who don't understand that restoration parts are really valuable to the right guy and what you have is a rare beast. 428CJ's were made from mid 68 until 1970 but 68 and 69 they were used in all intermediate lines including Mustang and Torino. In 70 the 428 was a Mustang and Cougar only engine so volume dropped off dramatically and now parts are impossible to find. In 70 there was no other FE engine in a Mustang so what you have is a CJ/SCJ part. Hawkrod
