...or rather we would as to how the different intakes behaved at less than WOT. I always wondered why virtually 100% of all OE intakes are dual plane no matter whether they are on a mom & pop ride or on an LS something chev or a Boss somethin or a Hemi. Seems they all came to the same conclusion and I'm betting that part throttle is where that answer lies...them guys ain't dumb...

We did that same test on a 502 Chev going into a dually once - - but swapped cams. The big cam made the most WOT power, but a smaller one absolutely kicked its rump at 1/2 - 3/4 throttle. It was a test done on a lark that really sent us in another direction for that particular build.
