Rolling into the throttle could definitely make the manifold with better part throttle HP and torque feel and perform better, at least up to the WOT point.
This is an interesting idea, but unfortunately part throttle testing is probably outside the scope of what I'm trying to do at present. I have 20 manifolds and two months of WOT testing on this motor alone, before I step up to the next motor. I'm trying to pare down the variables, not add to them. One problem with this dyno is that there are so many cool things I could be testing, but there's a limit to how much time I can devote to it. Maybe when I retire...
