Great info.

Response to Jay, could you squeeze in a "S" intake with your tests?

I, too am interested in learning the baseline comparison of common iron FE intakes. Ideally, it should be a stockish 428CJ build, so as to run these intakes close to their intended limits, but a wilder build would provide significant info, too.

If you wish, I can take 4V versions of the three standard FE iron intakes (early, S, and T) to be hot tanked to permit installation in a comparo test. I'd help with the grunt work, since iron is mostly just good for either a hernia or a very smooth running FE.

It is surprising to see the F427 matched so close in performance to a plain Performer. I wonder where the bottleneck is.

Very enlightening.

Shoe.
