My AOD is built up. The specifics I do not know other than it being a "street rod package" that the guy runs in other vehicles with AODs adapted to big blocks. So far so good. 20 MPG on the highway in OD.
I am not familiar with a gear vendors unit but am perfectly happy with this. My only question with a GV unit would be is if you lose any more HP going through a transmission AND the GV unit?
