Response to Nascar Grand National 427 Identification, numbers, characteristics????? |
| I had one that I purchased from Mickey Thompson 25yrs ago.
The only difference I can remember from any other 427 would be the wider journal $ crank, heavier nascar rods, the kick out pan with trap doors and all the safety wiring. The blocks oil passages were all massaged also.
You can't really tell from the outside.
Crank and block are good sell the heavy rods. It should be worth a little more than a regular 427 but it depends on condition. (they are 40yrs old!)
