they are hard to tell diff. but should stick out if complete.depends on yr but 427 nascar motors were Dry Deck blocks--no head gaskets but sealing rings/like diesel.
also stated are nascar crank/rods realize rods and crank need each other and special bearings on rods to work.you can cut rods down to work on std steel cranks,but can't use stock rods on nascar crank.
the block will have SK casting the last 1 i saw was tunnelport long blk with sk on heads/block/intake --oil pan was on so couldn't see crank.
if it is a real deal any1 with a H/M or other team car would probably pay $$ and put it on a stand for display.
