...when I was the "engine guy" on a enduro roundy-round stock car a few years back. The engine pulled really well for a 1/3 mile oval car. It had a +.060 390, that cam, and a 600 vacuum Holley. Surprized alot of guys. We sure beat-the-shit out of a pretty clean '63 Gal Fastback though. When the Gal was too beat up to bend-back-out, we did the same to a '66 Fairlane hardtop.
With a 114 lobe center, that cam almost idles like stock. OK, maybe a tiny lope, but not much.
