Response to Re: Brake valve line routing help! |
| having any braking issues and I thought that all the ports were connected so it really didn't matter but I needed to be sure. I just wanted re-assurance that I hadn't screwed up when I did this years ago and might not be getting full braking. I know it's recommended to use the disc/drum prop valve but the drum/drum valve has been working fine even under hard braking so I just never changed it. As far as the master cyl, would it be best to install the 68-70 power disc without the chamber or the 86-90 Ranger 15/16 disc/drum unit? I beleive the Ranger unit has metric fittings and would require adapter fittings while the Ford unit should be a bolt on job which steers me in that direction. I'm trying to get this done so that I can take the car out for it's next test session by the middle of the month. Thanks for the info, George
