I know people use the Ranger MC but never heard that they need metric adapters.
I use the mid 70's Maverick manual drum MC on several cars. The Ranger one is prettier though.
The regular disc brake MC for the sixties Mustangs is for use with the power booster so it doesn't have the groove in the unit to hold the clip for the pushrod and the pushrod won't stay in place.
