that about the power brake MC. I wonder if the Ranger MC has the groove? The rod has a spring type clip at the end that goes at the back of the MC. It compresses when you push the rod in. I guess it catches on the groove. The Bendix type MC that I was using seemed to hold the rod from falling out cause it never did and it took a little effort to pull the rod out. Well, at least you told me about the maverick MC. Maybe that's the one I need to use unless someone else that has used the Ranger MC can give me some more info or someone that has used the power brake MC without the booster can verify the problem with the rod.
