I was taking the easy way out on the head issue, I do have the RPM Edel. and a box load of Holley's -- but what is a downleg? I've been out of the game for about 15 years--- (divorce-retirement -moving to Oregon 6 years ago)
I do have lots of head options & various cars to put these in. but these 352's-361's are always in my way and I just wondered if they are worthwhile. Sounds that they are viable. Recounted yesterday & I actually have 5 390's over and above the 352 & 361 as well as a 428. The pile of engines was bigger than I thought.
I figured it was easier for you to gonk a RPM on a 352CI and the 4.25 stroker verses options on various tripowers. The 427 8V cam sounds like it would work.
Now I've got to look at it's specs.
