My parts cleaner has a pump with a plastic pedestal and impeller, the solvent hasn't hurt anything.
This stuff I get from work is the best cleaner I've ever used, they call it navatone. It doesn't hurt your skin unless you stay in it for a long time, the solution rinses off with hot water, I have no idea where they get it but I do know it's being phased out in favor of some enviro. crap.
