Thank You Tom. That's what I wanted to know. I have a 1" spacer under the carb now and the hood clearance is good. I will be reusing my 600 Holey which is only a year old and works well. This 390 is no power house, Just a good running engine. As far as I know it's very close to stock. The only real reason for the intake change is appearance. We only use this 58 for local cruise nights. If we want to go faster and farther we use our 08 Bullitt. Any recommendations on gasket manufactures?
