I did the int. centerline. I did it at .006 lift. I called to get the specs at .050 and did it that way. Double checked my TDC.. They only veried a couple deg. The at .050 being the most accurate I think gave me 8deg retard.. wanting 4deg advance... It's a Ford Racing timming set; my builder must have gotten the dots wrong.. I'm corect that you have to drop the front of the pan to get the timming cover off...Then I wonder how many differant marks are on that timming set.. I also wonder how much my compression at cranking will improve.. I had like 150 psi also vac. at idle was 10-11.. It should run a whole-lot better I would think.. Was it bad for the motor to run 8 deg retard.. Any input or thoughts on this.. Gosh it was my first time! Well back out to the garage " I'm going in"!!
