Response to #$%& hydraulic
I decided to take the pressure line to the T/O loose so I could bench bleed the MC. Then reconnected it to the T/O. Then disconnected the pedal linkage from the MC clevis. Fastened a pair of vise grips to the clevis and began pumping, probably 50 times. Blocked the clevis to the floor with a stick against the front seat and cracked the bleeder. Then repeated the process about 5 times. Each time I repeated I could feel the pressure increasing. Haven't driven it yet but will tomorrow. I did start it up and the tranny went into all gears like a knife through butter.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I still don't know why it worked this time and not last week. Oh the joys of hot rodding. Bob
