Ever think about trading away your old hot rod?

Any of you guys ever contemplate trading your valuable old hot rod for a modern performance car?

Anyone actually do it?

The last couple years I have been thinking about selling or trading my 427 4 Speed 67 Mustang Fastback original 390 car and getting a newer Shelby GT 500. I think I would get a lot more use and enjoyment out of the newer ride. But I have had my Mustang for 15 years and don't know if I would regret the decision.

My dad is even thinking about doing the same thing with his 64 428 Fairlane.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I will prob not sell the car, but if I was proposed a trade, I don't know how I would react.
