Finally got the '66 back together and no oil leaks. Drove her home today and I think it's going to be a peppy engine. Ran the emissions machine on the truck and my CO's are .29% at cruise. Compared to all the hot rods my buddy builds; this is extremely lean. He likes to see around 2.50% CO's at least at cruise. Ross has mentioned that with the truck not being under a load that this reading may not be reliable. I need to look into this some more.
Meanwhile I rewired the whole truck and the first time I shut it off; it wouldn't start back up. Neutral safety switch fried. Probably the first time the old switch has seen a true 12 volts plus.
