i cut up an old front sump and made it into a rear sump pan for my new 445 build to put in the 62 4x4, just thought i would see if anyone can see any problems i may have with it, it will be installed with a milodon 18445 rear sump pickup tube. the front depth is 4" and the rear is 10" deep 8 1/4" wide x 10" long. (i think a couple of inches longer than the milodon) i was thinking dump 7 quarts in and make a mark on my dipstick. a milodon pan advertises 8 quarts and this pan is basicaly the same size exept my sump is longer at the 10" depth half. what do you think? i will be using an accusump and remote double oil filter so i will add 2 more quarts for that.
thanks Dan
