I'm in the process of building my hotrod ever-It's a 1970 F100 SWB. Shortblock just got finished @ the machine shop-it's a 390fe bored 30 over with a Eagle 428 crank-making it a 416cui-I'm also running Keith Black stepdish pistons, and a Big MuthaThumpr mild Comp Cam. FLAT Tappet hydrulic lifters, I also purchased some Large Port thunderbird/fair lane 4v heads, completely remanufactored with up to date stainless valves. Gunna run the edelbrock dual quad air gap intake with 2 500s, also all MSD(6al digital), if anyone has any tips lemme know. My machinist is well known and the best around, pretty much going by all his advise which I trust, but I know there is sum folks out there who have been in and out of these FE's for many years so I'm always up for learning more about it, I want as close to 450hp that I can, already know its gunna be a torq monster.
