Raising the car doesn't cure an offset problem.
I think the main issue is the wheels have a negative offset when zero or a positive offset is required. A 7" wide rim with a 4" backspace is zero, you add the 1/2" of the rim lip to get that.
They do offer such an offset nowadays ...
...but are they older ones with 3 1/2" or less backspace?
I wouldn't use a shorter 60 series tire. If anything go for a tall and narrower like a 235/70 or 75 out back and a 215/70 or 75 on the front on the wheels you have.
