I see, that explains everything so thanks. It is great that you are providing so many stout FE's for a bunch of nice Ford's and that you can make a nice living doing it. Especially in this wacky economy, huh?
I have seen so many good engine shops, parts warehouses and machine shops close over the years, or move. Really can be frustrating. Thanks for giving the Ford faithful a knowledgeable, reliable respite.
When Ford wound down it's race teams,I was right there and it was a really sad deal. Then they obsoleted all of the good parts on us in the early 70's and some feared that these awesome engines would slowly go the way of the dinosaur. It broke many of our hearts. The music just died.
And as expected, many fast Ford friends just took the path of least resistance, and started pounding on Big Chevys or Chryslers. The aftermarket had heads and so many trick parts for those guys and still do. I often think that Ford guys and gals deserve special recognition, or a tax credit or something, for often fighting and winning an uphill battle. So Kudos to you and all of the rest.
Back then many of us stuffed away parts for 'some day' and would forage for stuff that became rarer and rarer, and less desireable. But it sure makes you feel validated and happy to see the FE so well supported in the aftermarket year by year.
Ok, where are the pyrometers? LOL I just loved that data point...jokin'
