The T-56 and R.O.D are the ones I was looking at, along with appropriate rearend gearing. I didn't realize the T-56 would be that much more involved or harder to fit. I really like the ratios available on the Richmond R.O.D. but yes, the price is pretty steep. I may not concern myself too much over the price since I was looking at close to $4K for an AODE/4R70W and the R.O.D is about $3600 plus cost of the bell housing, clutch etc. The Long shifter is included in the Richmond tranny and that helps a bit. I guess the Richmond unit would be about $1100 more than the TKO 600 when it's all wrapped up. Does that sound about right?
I just keep getting the feeling like I've half-assed so much stuff along the way and I REALLY want to stop that. I want to have the feeling that I've installed the BEST damn whatever-it-is from here out and when it's done (are they ever really done?) I want to know I've built a GREAT car, not a good one.
And as always I appreciate the info
