Wow. That sounds fun ! So you MAY have only 8 inches? Has he tried to tune it a bit to raise it? What are you doing with this car, bracket racing? Street racing? Cruising and ringing it out a lot?

You just may need a booster assist, they are real common for blown street cars, or big big cam engines.

Is a different cam out of the question ? Which cam is this? Have the specs maybe?

Who built the engine and what did they say?

It's a C6, right? Which converter? A 10 '' ?
