I got my car dyno tuned yesterday.
It is pretty much stock. The only mod is an RPM intake and Flowmaster exhaust through stock manifolds.
I tried to get some Hooker headers on the car but failed. Maybe one day I'll get the $$ for some FPAs.
The dyno guys rejetted the Holley up two sizes, did some timing and points.
So, at the rear wheels the results are 226 hp at 4300 rpm, and max torque 292 at 4000 rpm.
I was hoping the HP would have been higher, but an happy with the torque number.
One simple mod that they suggested that I wasn't aware of was getting rid of the points within the distirbutor. There is a simple little aftermarket piece that replaces the rotor and points with an electronic unit. Sounds good to me as want the stock look.
