Dave and his brother and dad are the only drivers and they are over 6 feet. It does look like converting to a stick would be near impossible as the footbox runs half way along the side of the engine and is too narrow for a third pedal.
They drove the car 240 miles to Reno.
The width of the tunnel is a bunch more than the skinny Sprite/Midget one and does impeded on seat and leg space but two large guy did fit in it.
I stood there staring in awe for a while and realize what a masterful packaging job they did.
The tires do rub the rad when steered and there are steering stops to limit travel to keep them off the valve covers. There are headers tucked in there and the big hemi oil pump clears the seriously narrowed rack.
It's amazingly quiet, a stock 426 Hemi Cuda went by and it was louder than the Sprite.
