This is Sam Ramirez. I have a 1969 Ford Galaxie Conv (all orig) Nothing special, but the car itself. I purchased a Prison Break stroker kit for it, rpm intake manifold, 780 cfm quickfuel 4bbl, edl rpm heads, FPA shorties.(All going in the next 3 weeks)
I also have extra parts for my current Gal. The 69 GAL cost me $3k.
But,I just found a 1964 Gal coupe with a 390 w/ 4spd. I REALLY Am interested in buying this GAL. I can keep the 69 GAL for cruising, and install what was originally going into it, into the 64 coupe. The coupe does have an exhaust manifold leak, due to broken bolt. No biggie. I can get the car for $8k from an older man, who's the 2nd owner and has owned it 10 years, who purchased it from an 85 year old man at the time.
Either way, what do you think I should do? What would you do? This is my dilemma. I love the 64 style. The 69 could be my cruiser?
Thanks for reading,
Sam
