Damn ethics are gonna drive me crazy! I bought a set of used L2245 pistons from a member of this forum. Nice guy. He sent them to me for FREE (I paid postage) because he couldn't use them and I could. They are correct .040 FORGED pistons for a 428. He didn't mention a price, he just said "pay me what you think they're worth" so that's where the ethics come into play. These are dished w/4 valve reliefs and are clearly marked with the L2245 numbers. No TRW, Silvo-lite, or anybody else's name on them. Don't say "Made in USA" but don't say "Made in China" either so leads me to believe they are USA forged. Nice mechanical condition with a few tiny pre-ignition dimples in the roofs. Disgusting filthy with unbelievable amounts of carbon build-up. No rings, no pins or snap rings. I want to keep him for a friend. What are they worth?
