And when you put a mild solid roller in an engine to putt around at or below 6000, you're running more risk than benefit. Solid roller lifters will fail a whole lot quicker than a hydraulic roller lifter, just because they take a constant pounding from lash. Not to mention that the spring pressures are harder on everything.

There are some street rollers out there for guys who have to have solids, but there again, I see no benefit to them.
