Response to Anyone done any race builds with the Victor? Stroker or whatever n/m

My 489 has had a Victor since 2009, it made a big difference over the RPM, both were ported.

The engine is a 489 cid FE, 10.7:1, KC Edelbrock heads (started as early version of Stage 2 then hand ported), ported EFI Victor with 1200 cfm throttle body, Erson 286/294, 242°/256° @.050 .595 lift, 110 on 106, but instead of .024 lash I run at .014 so a little more snotty. TKO-600 with a 4.11 gear set.

I couldn't ask for a better behaved combo. The RPM with a 1000 Holley ran great too but the worked Victor comes on much stronger mid and upper end and still happy in 5th gear. I consider the heads and intake did a good job offsetting the comparatively mild cam
