Carb woes are solved.

I've been fighting this 64 Galaxie for over a week. I cleaned the carb that wasn't that dirty in an ultrasonic cleaner and put a kit in. It wouldn't idle and the boosters were dumping fuel. Double checked float height. Fuel pressure, vacuum leaks and tune triple checked. I had the SOB off multiple times. Tanked the venturi 2 more times. Same old shit. Finally I drilled and pulled the plugs in the top of the venturi and I couldn't even see the 2 holes for fuel to run down to the idle circuit. Booom baby! I found the small holes with a dental pick and I didn't think I would ever get the crud to break through. I finally got it. She's purring now. I'll get Grundy to bind insurance and get her tagged for the Cruise-in Friday. If only I knew a happy dance.
