(Login falconred ) Members Off the SS forum: Just had news that Al Eckstrand of Lawman fame passed away May 10th aged 79 and Dick Loehr an old Mustang driver also passed away. Ray Christian is another SS stocker gone. Jerry Forsberg who ran dragsters driven by his brother in the '50s and '60s also recently passed.
Lots of memories going away recently.
Not FE but I just wanted everyone to know.

Bummer to hear that, but thanks for passing it on. Do you have a link to the SS forum?

The centry list from the 65 Super Stock Nationals had sure dwindled in recent years. Almost all those guys were around just a few years ago.
There's no time like the present to get to the nostalgia reunion events and meet these guys while they are around.

Yep, I was raised in the "bay area" of north Georgia, but here we call it a cove of the lake.
I just keep up with several racing sites and this was posted in the last few days.
