COPPER HEAD GASKET SEALENT ??????????????

what is the best head gaket sealent for copper head gaskets? the block has stainless O rings and heads have rings cut into them. this is a street motor, i want no leaks first time out. thanks edgar

i used some stuff called Kopper Kote from NAPA on my metal head gaskets for my Y-block.
seems to work well.

egdar I use either Hi-Tac or Copper gasket sealer from Permatex. Either one works well but you have to follow the directions. I spray a 3 coats on lite and let dry each time. 3rd coat is a little tacky. ALL the surfaces need to be cleaned. Brakekleen leaves a film on the surfaces. I use a little thinner. Torque as per instructions. I do 5 different cycles following the sequence of the bolt pattern. Rick
