Going thru the Ford shop manual on my 96 Ford F250 w/460 engine to understand the commercial equivalents of the sealants. The ones I posted equivalents on are from the Permatex website, the unknown ones I'm curious. Any idea of what they are, commercial wise?

Ford Gasket Maker E2AZ-19562-B WSK-M2G348-A5 =
Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker

Ford Silicone Gasket and Sealer F6AZ-19562-AA WSE-M4G323-A6 =
Permatex "Right Stuff" or "Ultra Black"

Ford Perfect Seal Sealing Compound - Water Resistant B5A-19554-A ESE-M4G115-A =
No equivalent listed

Ford Perfect Seal Sealing Compound - Oil Resistant
F2AZ-19554-AA ESE-M4G115-A =
No equivalent listed

Ford Pipe Sealant with Teflon D8AZ-19554-A WSK-M2G350-A2 =
Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant

Regards,
Dennis

I'll ask an engineer here at work who supplies sealant in PTO. It appears........

..........Permatex is still supplying Ford spec sealants. In the 2 unknown sealants, the prefix and one letter, "A", differentiates the oil or water resistance capabilities, Rod.

I loved perfect sealing compound, can't seem to get it anymore. I use Indian Head Shellac in it's place, it acts a lot like perfect seal.
