Great article/pics on John Calverts T-Bolt in Oct Car Craft.

It states it has a 14:1CR 427 High Riser with 64 date coded parts:block heads intake and get this the engine was built by none other then Blair Patrick Racing. It has the cast finned 428CJ Valve Covers..and even the choke horns on the Holley's.

it has to have iron HR heads and the OEM carbs, choke flap and all. That engine is one of my dumplins. I was pleasantly surprised that we got it to make the power it made on the first build. I'm gonna milk it a little more this winter. His kid went 9.80 in the heat with it at Sonoma the other day. There is still some more there with a cam change or two and some valve jobbage on the bench............
