You can bake the dessicant and it will give up the water it has captured, but if you are talking about baking the whole bottle, that would stink to high heaven and might damage the plastic parts inside, so it isn't practical. Your best bet is trying to find fittings to use a new bottle of approximately the same size from some other car.
I had that done for a 67 cougar, the origional canister is made of aluminum and the repos are made of steel. I found that auto crafters will take the origional and replace the desecant with 134 type and reweld the can so as to keep the stock appearence.
Thankfully, the NAPA I got the first one from is old school & still has cross reference...

catalogs. 14mm instead of 3/8". Found one a little shorter for a one year only Honda. There are (were) 4 in the US, one just happened to be in OKC. Thanks Tim at Waterloo NAPA!!! He even returned the old one.
