Ill describe it best I can without pictures. 2 dr, 3sp auto, 6cyl with A/C kit. Fairly fresh paint with a run in clear coat. Hub caps, good tires and all trim intact. Attention to engine compartment, engine red, brackets black. Looks like a decent restore. I do suspect an engine swap as date codes fall between Oct 62 and Mar 63. Recoverd seats and complete interior. Dont know what they are asking but want to give an offer next week.

If it has a 3 spd auto, it also had a transmission transplant. The 64 Falcons still had the 2 spd auto. The 6 cyl Falcons do not have the value of the V-8 powered Falcons. Even if it is in very good condition I can't see it getting $8K unless someone really wants a 6.
Mine is a 1965 Falcon futura 2 door hardtop 200cu. in. 6 cyl 3 speed. 64k original miles. An all original car except for a repaint. I bought it off ebay for $4600 and think i got a pretty good deal. I put about 8k miles on it last year it averaged about 20 mpg and the best i got was 24mpg. These cars are way more efficent at 55mph than the 70-75mph you have to drive them these days. So if i kept it at 55 i'd expect 25 plus mpg.
