Got a couple of things to do nothing major, hook up a tach and mount and balance two new rear drag radials and a good clean up. Was wondering how everybody else is doing.

As much as several of us West Coast guys..

April 18 2017, 9:50 PM

would love to be there we can't see any way to justify the time off work, travel and expense. Add that to the questionable weather this early in the season and it's just not going to happen. Coming just to hang out and enjoy the experience is tempting but personally, I wouldn't show up without a car.

About ready, but still depends on the weather...

April 18 2017, 9:31 PM

Took the PTO off of my truck transmission until I can figure out how to stop it from leaking gear oil. Just made a temporary cover and put it on today, greased it and did an oil change. No changes to the car since last fall, so it's ready except for cleaning the dirt and bugs off of it from last years Drag Week. But it still depends on the weather for me. 10 hours is too far to haul if the weather is going to be crappy, rainy and cold, like it's been the last couple of years.

on the way over....was great!!! Ya. Wonderful.

It has, for all 5 yrs gotten "nice" enough to race on Saturday. Barely, but some how we have always gotten the race in. The winds have always been brutal cold!!

Ya, for some reason most of us show up...

April 20 2017, 5:46 AM

rain/snow/sleet/dead of night.

If it's 70*..........it will be a really nice time. The worse part has been the brutal cold wind off the mountain that keeps you inside most of the time in past years.
