Power Steering pump mounting question

My question is about the power steering pump on a 1967 390. The mounting stud has long threads on one end and short threads on the other end. From Ford was the long end or short end screwed into the head ?

I think it shows the orientation in the assembly manual.

Does 67 Use The Eaton Pump With Cast Iron Pulley And Seperate Reservoir?

The long end screws into the head. 40yrs working engine repair in Ford dealers.
