The aftermarket has the tri 5 chebbie covered so well it seems like you could walk into a 7/11 and get a tri 5 part.

chevy guys have a trans-gender deal going on

It doesn't seem like anybody else does. AMC guys don't go looking to put an LS in their AMX.

A real Cadillac guy doesn't want an LS in his El Dorado. It seems like only the Chevy guys want to mix the parts so readily. I guess because it's easy and requires no brain power?

I agree Paul. Not that I haven't seen mix matched cars, but it seems to be way overbalance

It seems that at least 75% or more chebby guys putting their engines into other car makes.

I've seen a few idiots on other sites putting ls engines into AMC's, for what reason I haven't a clue as AMC's were the ultimate car to be unique as an owner [vs the big three].

I was just reading an old Not Rod magazine the other day with two Gremlins both having a stroker 401, and both making over 600hp. So why someone would want to be a redneck sister humping ls crowd follower when you can build the factory engine to that power level without boost, is beyond me.

Classic example of

May 18 2017, 7:03 PM

I want my car to be in a magazine. Magazines rarely feature average cars that might be owned by a Joe Schmo. They feed off the different and exotic to get the buzz going and people talking to generate traffic and sales.
