3" brake followup

Since there seems to be very little selection in 3" drum brake shoes I got them from the local parts place. Raybestos 925PG ... the PG stands for "Professional Grade", there was another cheaper set but they didn't have any in town.
No core charge either... pretty sure I've always had to return the old ones.

So I just now went to take them out of the box and see on the label..."Made in China".

They've got to be kidding me!!! On something low volume like that they couldn't just get the factory in Ohio or wherever to run off fifty sets and call them obsolete once those run out?

Drats !! ... I did all 4 brakes on my 2009 F150 .. told my parts guy ...

.. I wanted Made in US parts, he said no problem

Was putting the last rotor on and noticed Made in China on one end of the box

I couldn't find them on there, only Mustang and other smaller ones.

you will probably need to send them your old shoes to reline. Not cheap but at least they do it. Download their catalog and look at page 4. Will probably cost around a couple hundred for the R-4 compound. Call them and find out. Later, Rick
