Having trouble finding main and rod bearings for the 20 under 1U crank. King, Federal Mogal and the others only show regular type and
I wanted HP or race grade. What are you guys using?

Yeah, I encountered the same issue.

I think I used the Clevite bearings. Hopefully it works out ok, it's not really a racing build so I think it'll be ok.

Use 351 Cleveland bearings

Federal-Mogul P/N 146M20 is still available.

You will need to add additional tang slots to the block, or remove the locating tangs.

Everything else works fine.

Grind the block

Not Barry but I use Cleveland bearings in my motor.
I used a dremel with a cutoff wheel to make notches in the block. Easy to make enough clearance and no messing with bearings when you go to replace them.
Interestingly the center thrust fits without any mods.
