flywheel alignment

First time installing a flywheel on the back of my new Prison Break. Took the wheel off my old 390 and when installing on the new one the 6 bolt holes don't line up. 4 do but a couple are misaligned slightly. I rotated the wheel and eventually they all lined up and the six bolts went in without an issue. I assume this is by design. Or is there something I'm missing? Thanks, John

6 holes

Only six holes but it is common to have to turn it 10 times to get them to line up. happy.gif

I had an almost new Hays steel FE flywheel one time that some guy crudely oblonged a couple holes with a file to make a "misdrilled" flywheel fit. I bought it cheap, welded up the inside edge of two holes and used it.
